What's Scott To Do
Scott Lawrey (29.47) once again dominated the Steve Chapman 501 League with a 3-0 win that bamboozled his opponent with legs of 15 and 16 darts contributing.

That effort continued Victory A's 11-0 success over The Exchange, which ended with Lawrey as the top scoring competitor with fourteen three figure visits.
Paul Goundry (25.47) was also at his top level with a leg in 17 contributing to his 3-0 win as he ended his night on eleven ton plusses.

Tony Tasker continued the ticker tape parade of phenomenal play with a 16 darter in a 3-1 triumph and also ended his night on ten tons.
Quinton Taylor made it four players from the home side to reach double figures for tons as he meandered his way to ten of his own.

Taylor, Tasker and Goundry all added ton plus finishes to their mammoth tallies with a 116, 109 and 101 respectively.
The shining light of Fawn B's 8-3 over St Levans was Dave Matthews (27.33) who added legs in 15 and 17 darts during his 3-0 individual triumph, which ended with him being one of three players achieving a ten ton haul.

Teammates Fred Goldsmith and Jack McMinn joined the dectet club with the latter of the two men doing so thanks in part to three of the four maximums plundered in the game.
John Mann added to that quartet with one maxi of his own whilst the top scoring player for the defeated team was Mike Pearce with eleven three figure visits.

Pearce's stablemate Harry MacGregor banged home a 108 checkout that was the best finish of the contest in the doubles before the individual phase was lit up.
Simon Washington opened up the event with a 3-0 singles phase success that contained a 14 darter before Mann added a 17 dart leg to his win by the same score line.

McMinn ended the contest with a 3-1 win that contained a brace of legs in 17, which was proceeded by the aforementioned heroics of Matthews.
Luke Johnson (26.84) notched a solitary leg in 16 darts that gave him the platform from which to build a fine 3-0 individual triumph in a 7-4 win for Cherry Tree C at Octagon.

Teammate Dave Lee didn't hit Johnson's heights in terms of number of darts thrown but he did manage three of the five maximums overall in his 3-2 success.
Johnson added a solitary effort to Robbie Bisgrove's fine three treble visit for the defeated side whilst teammate Alfie Ford showed his class.

Ford heard scores of a ton or more called no fewer than twelve times for the defeated team whilst teammate Jayden Dodd showed what a ton machine he has become with eleven.
Johnson was one again amongst the headlines with a 126 checkout that narrowly bettered a 121 from Dave Pethick which was superseded by Johnson's magic.

AJ Brunton showed heroic form to lead Victory Fireballs to a 7-4 win over Firkin Scholar with his twelve tons going some way to deciding the matchup.
In the individual phase, Brunton was a 3-0 winner thanks in part to a 17 dart leg whilst the only 180 came in Chris Beale's 3-1 success and the highest finish was a 91 by Shane Ryan who narrowly lost 3-2.

Kieran Harris was the main aggressor with two 180s on his way to eleven tons but still found himself on the wrong end of a 7-4 loss as Beacon Park downed Victory Hammers.
Beau Carter and Ryan Stone fired maximums back at the defeated team whilst Harris showed finishing prowess with a 116 checkout and a 17 darter which one his two legs in a 3-2 individual loss.

Eleven tons from Scott Wapshott gave Cherry Tree B the platform to claim a 6-5 success in their derby game against Cherry Tree A.
Wapshott's teammates Paul Gavican and Jason Pinkerton shared three maximums in the match with the lion's share going to the latter.

As the score line suggests, it wasn't all one way traffic with Jacob Bentham showing good form throughout as he meandered to ten ton plusses overall.
Ten tons rained down from the arm of Tom Full, which made a big dent in the 7-4 score line achieved it Bar Mez against Fawn A.

Teammate Lee Rodmell showed his undoubted class with an 84 combination out shot whilst both 180s went the way of the away side as both Ryan Carter and Dave Clemson both notched.
180s for each of Kevin Lofthouse and Cameron O'Brien gave Cherry Tree D the platform to bag themselves an 8-3 success over Duchy.

A 10-1 win for King Billy over Indian Inn was accented by an 80 checkout for Andrew Cook that sat nicely alongside teammate Brandon Hartley's maximum.
