Well In From Glyn

Glyn Wells top scored with eleven ton plusses during a 10-3 Plymouth and District Friday Darts League success for Victory Inn over Indian Inn.

Dave Young (30.33) ploughed in ten tons and the league's sixth 1001 leg finished in 33 darts of the season so far whilst Nathan Beeney checked 80 in a single visit for the highest checkout of the match.

Steve Marker paired with Lewis Byrne (27.81) for a 36 dart 1001 leg that was finished with a 104 for the latter in a 7-6 success for Tradesmans B at King Billy.

Whilst the Devonport side eventually ended on the wrong side of the narrow defeat, they did out gun their rivals in the 180 stakes as Ben Webb and Harry McFerran both fired in the loss.

A 12-1 for leaders Tradesmans A over Cherry Tree was accented by two decent individual legs in the final two games of the match.

Andrew Nation (25.67) added a maximum on his way to a 39 dart 1001 leg; an effort that beat his teammate and doubles partner by two darts.

In the very next and final matchup, Andrew Waters (24.41) threatened to better that effort before settling on a 41 darter to finish the double digit win.

Lee Gillard fired a maximums for Pennycross as they claimed an 8-5 triumph when visiting the Royal Naval Arms.

A 180 from Steve Daley was the only moment of magic in an 8-5 defeat for Octagon against Kings Tamerton CC.

A 94 checkout for Harry Harrison was the only highlight of an 8-5 defeat for Grenville against Ker St B whilst Stoke Bar and Grill won 9-4 at home against Mainstone to move themselves up to second place.
