Washington's Wizardry Helps Leaders Through Tough Test

Simon Washington added one of the two maximums in the matchup overall to his eleven ton haul during Tradesmans 8-3 win at Colebrook in the Monday Premier League.

Washington's onslaught wasn't curtailed to the scoring phase as his two 96 combination checkouts showed his class at the business end of legs.

Jaden Whitting joined Washington in achieving a 180 and also bettered his brace of 96 kills with a 100 of his own.

Washington was also usurped in the scoring phase by teammate Lee Agar who bagged himself thirteen scores of a ton or more.

Agar was bettered in the individual phase by Zak Smith who topped out his own ton tally at fifteen for the defeated team.

Despite all of those tons and a 14 darter thrown in Smith's direction by Agar, the former ran out the narrowest of 3-2 victors.

Eleven tons from Paul Gavican were nailed to the board to lead King Billy to an 8-3 success over visitors from Cherry Tree A.

Gavican's ton tally was propped up by the game's only maximum and his 18 darter in a 3-1 win was only bettered by teammate Andrew Cook.

Cook's 3-0 success saw one leg claimed after throwing only 17 darts whilst his 104 combination out was the only effort to better John Goodall's 101 single visit kill for the defeated team.

A 180 from Jon Parsons provided the catalyst for Bluebird B to claim a 6-5 win at Indian Inn, for whom Harry Bull checked in 18 darts before Ryan Stubbs finished the game with a 3-1 win to give the away side the spoils.
