Trelease Releases Big Checkout
Cleo Trelease started her life in the Plymouth Open League Division B with a fine 80 checkout but ended on the wrong side of a 9-2 defeat for the Duchy against a strong looking Victory team.

Biggest winners of the week were Weston Mill Oak Villa who secured a 10-1 win over newcomers King Billy B with the help of a Jonathan Easterbrook 180.
Jordan Angear scored a maximum in Fortescue's 6-5 win over Cherry Tree A which came down to a last game decider which was won by Russell Hitchcock.

Ker St A completed this round of fixtures in Division B with a 9-2 win over Prince Maurice which was accented by thirty-six tons; twenty-six of which went to the victors in a dominant display.
The new A division season saw reigning B division champions King Billy A and Lugger produce forty-four ton plusses between them in a 9-2 win for the former.
Lee Doncaster (29.47) won his game 2-0 with thanks to a pair of 17 darters last on which furthered added to a difficult night for their Devonport rivals.
Falstaff A won a tight affair with Cherry Tree B 6-5 whilst Ker St C started their campaign with an 8-3 win over Mainstone and a Devonport derby between Shakespeare and Ker St B ended 7-4 to the latter.
In Division C, Sharon Jeavons produced a 103 checkout for St Johnston A who won 11-0 against a Queens Dock side that had John Pengilly hitting the only maximum.
Brian Lumsdon won his singles for St Johnston B with checkouts of 80 and 73 in an 8-3 win over Falstaff B whilst Mark McMaffrey threw the only maximum of Half Moon's 4-7 defeat to Weston Mill.
Stoke Inn started life in the Plymouth Open league with a tidy 8-3 win over Ker St B which saw them win five of six singles.
