Too Many Cooks Don't Spoil The Broth

Scott Cook, Andrew Cook and Paul Goundry led the way for the King Billy in the Monday Premier League annual trebles competition to take the cash prize at the St Levans.



A 2-0 win over Dave Wyatt, Bill Rennie and Dave Pethick of Octagon B started their march before the defeated trio's teammates claimed their spot in the last 8.


Jayden Dodd, Steve Daley and Chris Edgecombe put together an 801 leg in 30 darts in a 2-0 win over Victory's Tony Tasker, Quinton Taylor and Liam Taylor.


Cherry Tree B's Marc Webber, Phil Taylor and Tony Reid booked a semi final spot with a 2-0 win over King Billy's other team containing Paul Gavican, Ant Pearn and Mark Sleet.



The other team from the Cherry Tree B bowed out to Dodd, Daley and Edgecombe as Paul Haore, Heather Toney and Kev Doel fell 2-1.


Legends Lounge had representation in the last 4 thanks to James Nicholls, Lewis Byrne and Carl Bradshaw turning over Bluebird B's Lee Roberts, Nick Perring and Callum Strickson.


Goundry nailed a 180 to help the King Billy trio into the final quartet during a 2-0 win over Cherry Tree A's Mike Whatley, Matt Nicholson and Paul Freeman.



Scott Cook added a second 180 for his team in the first semi final as the Cherry Tree B representatives were downed 2-0.


Dodd's 127 combination out shot claimed the best checkout of the night and helped Octagon B secure a 2-0 win over Legends Lounge.


Scott Cook's 116 three dart shot out proved decisive in swinging the title the way of the 'Billy Boyz' in the final that was won 2-1 against Dodd's Octagon B team.
