Title Party Delayed After Dramatic Week Twists Leaders' Fate

Simon Washington claimed ten tons but saw his Kings Tamerton table toppers crash to a 9-4 Louis Yates Plymouth & District Darts League home defeat versus Victory to leave the door open for Tradesmans A.

Tradesmans A kept up their end of the title deal with a 12-1 win over Weston Mill Oak Villa that means there's little margin for error in their final match as they will need a 13-0 win over Mainstone to snatch the crown.

Washington did all but guarantee himself the 180 title for the league with another three treble visit that puts him on seventeen maximums for the season.

Shaun Williams showed his finishing prowess for the victors with a 110 kill that was the best of the fixtures played whilst Glyn Wells added a solitary 180 during the huge win for the third best team in the standings.

Jordan Grimshaw claimed his twenty-fourth and final win of the campaign but still can be caught by Kieran Burns for the individual title as Burns has two more to play for the King Billy and is only one leg behind.

Burns bagged two maximums in an 11-2 loss for King Billy at Legends Lounge that ended the former's hopes of a fourth placed finish, whilst Legends will finish sixth.

James Nichols (32.29) fired an impressive 31 dart leg that included two maximums in the St Budeaux outfit's massive win the give him a share of the second best leg of 1001 in the division this season.

In order for Burns to do a unique double of the individuals and 180 championships, he will need to win his individuals twice and put up at least four maximums in the final two games.

Cameron O'Brien fired the only 180 of Mainstone's 10-3 success against Ker St who are guaranteed to finish bottom after their final game whilst the victors could move up a couple of places, and spoil the title race.

Mark Lashbrook added an 88 checkout as Cherry Tree were defeated 9-4 by Falstaff who will finish a respectable fourth in the league.

A Dave Meyrick 80 checkout joined a Matt Legge 180 for Cattedown Social Club whose 8-5 win over Tradesmans B ensures they will finish above their rivals in the standings.
