In the Knockout Cup, Mark Williams fired a maximum for Division A leaders Victory who came back from 4-1 and 5-2 down to snatch a 6-5 first leg lead.

With the scores tied at 5-5, Matt Forder was bested by Frankie Stout 2-1 despite Forder's 121 checkout in this particular rubber.
