Tex Pearce's tally of fourteen scores of a ton or more did some damage to Fawn A's Plymouth City Super League Division B title push, but it couldn't push St Levans over the finish line as his Keyham team lost 6-5.
Pearce showed he has more class than just endless scoring with a 16 darter in his 3-0 individual success whilst teammate Hayley Brant added her team's only maximum.
Reg Matthews fired the other three treble visit in the match for the victors whilst Dave Roberts showed his finishing prowess with a 114 three dart combination out shot.
Lee Dennis lit up Hyde Park's 6-5 defeat against Cherry Tree B with twelve ton plus scores, which included one of the two maximums.
Teammate Andy Hawes was the other maxi hitter for the defeated team whilst Tony Reid showed his class with ten tons for the visitors.
Three checkouts in and around the ton mark were thrown down between the two teams with Reid's teammate Heather Toney added a 98 combination to proceedings.
Glyn Carpenter's 106 had to settle for second best for the home side and in the match as Bob Wood checked 115 for the best kill of the match and week across the second tier fixtures.
Unfortunately for Wood's side they surrendered a 5-1 lead as the visitors from Pennycross reeled off five straight singles with Paul Hoare finishing the comeback with a 3-0 win in the final singles.
Kings Tamerton A's visit to Victory, which ended 6-5 to the away side, saw a member of each party reach eleven tons for their night's work.
Danny Hoyle and Phil Ingram finished on that total and also met in the individual phase as Ingram was a 3-2 winner inspite of a 180 from the defeated player.
Ingram was supported well in the match by AJ Brunton who netted himself a ten ton haul whilst Hoyle's teammate Chris Hanwell showcased his finishing prowess with a 114 out.
Nick Bryant ended his night just inside double figures for tons as his dectet helped leaders Cherry Tree D to an 8-3 win over Duchy A.
Bryant's total was topped up to that mark by his team's only maximum with a second effort provided from the arm of Ryan Ring for the defeated team.
Ring's stablemate Nick Bromley was in good nick throughout the contest as he also reached ten scores of a ton or more.
The business end of legs was dominated by Bryant's 12 darter whilst teammate Keith Carter checked a 74 to claim the best combination for his team.
Ring's 71 had to settle for second best of all checkouts from the visitors as Jack Heath bagged himself a 92 single visit out.
A 180 for each team was added to the scoreboard by Del Bryce and Mike Sant as Bryce's Legends Lounge won 7-4 in their visit to Sant's Kings Arms A.
Sant's teammate Colin Sloman showed his undoubted class with a fine 108 combination out shot that was the best checkout of the game overall.
Rob May's two maximums for Duchy B contributed to one of the four points secured by the home team in a 7-4 defeat at the hands of Fawn B.
The most notable moment for the victors came in the form of an 80 checkout by Mark Sargeant that was the best of all thirty-one finishes in the contest.
A fourth win of the campaign was secured by Kings Tamerton B in an 8-3 success over Herbert that contained a Gareth Harper 95 finish.
