Steve's Mark For LND Unbeaten For Week Six
Steve Marker (27.05) proved once again how he's a master of the 1001 format with a 37 dart leg in the Louis Yates Plymouth & District Darts League, which was the best leg of all six fixtures played.
That success came in an 8-5 triumph for Marker's Windmill over Tradesmans B who had Geordie Baker firing a maximum to join efforts from Marker and teammate Lewis Byrne.
Four 180s provided the main moments of magic in King Billy's 8-5 success over Octagon as Kieran Burns put two onto the scoreboard for the Devonport side.
Burns' teammate Harry McFerran also heard 180 called once whilst the only three treble visit of the contest for the visitors came from the arm of Paul Barclay.
Sean Taylor lit up Legends Lounge's 8-5 success over Grenville with the highest checkout of the week; a 96 single visit kill.
Taylor also added his team's only maximum to a three treble visit in riposte by Harry Harrison for the St Judes based side.
That Taylor effort pushed Steve Harris' 88 checkout in an 8-5 win for Falstaff over Mainstone into second place whilst the third best checkout came in the same game as Sid Hurrell put away 86 at the first time of asking.
Simon Washington and John Brownlow both added a 180 in Kings Tamerton's 13-0 whitewash over Ker St that sees them open a thirteen and fourteen point lead over the title rivals.
An 11-2 win for Pennycross in their derby match against Cherry Tree saw Stephen Lamerton fire an 82 checkout and Dan Nixon put the only maximum of the match onto the scoreboard.
