Simon's Simple Scoring Show
Simon Stevenson bothered the scorer marking down the tons an outrageous seventeen times during Cornwall Gate's 8-3 win at Duchy A in the Plymouth City Super League Division B.
Stevenson's mammoth haul included the highest checkout in the division of 120 whilst teammate Andy Malinowski put the only maximum onto the scoreboard.
That three treble visit helped Malinowski end his evening on ten tons whilst the talismanic pair also offered up the best legs of the match.
Malinowski's 17 and 18 dart legs in a 3-0 win were only bettered by Stevenson's solitary effort in 14 in another 3-0 success.
Wayne Town dominated the Greenbank derby with thirteen three figure scores as Town's Clifton edged Fawn B out in a 7-4 triumph.

Paul Freeman had his scoring boots on with twelve tons that took Kings Tamerton to a fine 7-4 success over Ker St.
As the score line suggests, it certainly wasn't all one way traffic as Ian Heggie provided most of the firepower for the defeated side with ten tons.
Heggie's teammates Ralph Lancaster and Pete Lamerton also produced moments of magic with a 72 checkout and a maximum respectively.
Lancaster's checkout was however matched in the contest as Kings Tamerton's Lee Hunter also finished at the first time of asking from that very same figure.

Biggest winners in the division were Cherry Tree B with a 10-1 success over Duchy B that contained a 180 for Kev Doel and a 90 checkout from Duchy's Liam Bradeley
In Division A, Dave Hollow's fifteen three figure scores put a fire underneath his Colebrook side who claimed a 10-1 over Fawn A.
The man Hollow put away in the singles, Dave Pethick, was the Greenbank team's best player with ten three figure scores.
Hollow's teammate Darren Smith added the only maximum of the contest whilst Pethick's stablemate Bill Scannell checked the only point garnered by his team with a 96 single visit kill.
Octagon continue their unfettered march to another Super League title after an 11-0 success over Indian that saw John Mann top score with fifteen ton plusses.
Mann was supported well by Neil White and Fred Goldsmith who both ended their evening's body of work with eleven three figure scores.
Dave Matthews also showed glimpses of his very best with the highest checkout of the week of 128 to go alongside a brace of 180s that were two of the three maximums nailed overall.
Quinton Taylor put a third three treble visit onto the scoreboard for his team whilst there was a smattering of world class averages throughout the contest.
Mann and Matthews paired to put away 601 points in just 18 darts whilst White and Lee Hellings checked a leg in 21 during their 2-1 triumph.
Mann's (28.90) individual affair saw him check 16 and 15 darters over the 501 distance in a 3-0 win whilst Quinton Taylor (27.33) added legs in 17 and 18 darts during his win by the same score line.
A 9-2 win for Steampacket in their visit to Saltram was littered with twelve tons from George Beckett whilst teammates Phil Taylor and Matt Thompson also contributed.
Taylor's maximum was the only one of it's kind whilst Thompson's single visit checkout of 74 was the best of all thirty-one out shots in the match.
Despite ending on the wrong side of a heavy defeat, Reg Matthews showed there's life in the old dog yet with a ton tally that was topped off at ten.
Legends Lounge are now locked in a battle for second place after more dropped points in a 7-4 win at Bluebird Bandits that saw Ant Pearn throw twelve ton plus scores.
Pearn's total was headlined by two of the five maximums as teammate Scott Cook also contributed a brace to make it four for his St Budeaux outfit.
Wayne Oddie fired the defeated Compton side's only maximum whilst teammate Dale Halford top scored for his team with ten ton plusses.
Mark Shears 119 three dart combination out shot gave him the best checkout overall whilst Pearn, Cook and teammate Dan Brazier (38.50) knitted together 1001 points in just 26 darts in the second trebles.
Shears and Scott Wapshott (30.05) then put away their 601 doubles 2-0 with legs of 19 and 21 providing the best over that distance.
Shears ended his night with a 3-1 individual win over Callum Strickson who checked his solitary leg in just 17 darts.
Antony Hayman's scoring prowess allowed King Billy to gain a point on their rivals for runner-up as his eleven tons led the Devonport side to an 8-3 win over Bluebird A.
The cherry on top of Hayman's total was a 124 checkout whilst teammate Paul Palmer added his team's only maximum.
Glenn Halford was the other 180 hitter with his effort rounding his personal ton tally to the ten mark during a 3-1 win that saw him check two legs in 18 darts.
Paddy Archibald was in the type of form that earned him Cornwall county honours as he netted two legs in 17 darts during a 3-2 success with that pair only bettered by Hayman with a 15 darter in a 3-0 win.
Seven scores of one hundred and eighty were called during a brilliant contest between Kings Arms B and Cherry Tree A that ended 8-3 to the former.
Dave Johns and Simon Kelly were amongst those players to add a maximum as both provided ten tons each to lead the Oreston side to the win.
Teammates Roger Backway, Tony Gordon and Paul Carpenter all added their names to the 180 column of the result sheet.
The two players returning fire for the defeated Pennycross side were Dave Lee and Nick Miller; the latter doing so in a 3-2 win that contained a 15 dart leg.
That Miller leg of 501 was the only one to better a 17 darter from Johns whilst the highest checkout honours was shared between the two sides.
Martyn Down's 86 single visit kill was matched by James Hughes who also finished from that number in his notable 3-1 win over Johns.
