Scottie Too Hottie For Kings
After a couple of years of absence from the oche due to other commitments, Scott Hutchinson showed that class is permanent with fourteen tons in Victory B's Plymouth City Super League 6-5 win over Kings Arms B.

Hutchinson's teammate Heather Toney helped herself to her team's only maximum whilst Dave Johns and Paul Carpenter fired back with a 117 checkout and a 180 respectively.
A close run contest between the Clifton and Bluebird B was finally settled by a 7-4 score line to the latter as Dale Halford shone with fourteen three figure scores and a 96 finish for the victors.

Another fourteen ton hitter in game week thirteen was the imperious George Beckett who fired his haul in a 10-1 defeat for Steampacket at Victory A.
All four 180s in the game went to the triumphant home side as Danny Allen's brace was added to by Mark Shears and Matt Chegwin whilst the high finish honours went to another Victory star, Scott Cook with a 105.

Shears individual game was won 3-1 with the help of legs in 18, 17 and 15 whilst Cook also added an 18 darter of his own in a 3-1 success and Allen bagged a leg in 16 during his 3-0 win.
Shears' scoring power gave him an overall total of thirteen three figure scores for the evening whilst Allen added eight ton plusses to his pair of maximums to reach double figures for the night's work.

The Fawn A's 6-5 win over St Levans was dominated by two men as Dave Roberts added his team's only maximum on his way to a thirteen ton plus haul.
Roberts was well supported by Mike Nancholas who put eleven three figure scores on the board as the Greenbank team fought back from 3-0 and 4-2 down.

As the score line suggests, this contest certainly wasn't all one way traffic with Hayley Brant adding to Tex Pearce's two maximums to give the Keyham side three overall.
Pearce also added a 16 dart leg in his 3-0 singles win whilst Mark Hopkins produced a 98 checkout in a 3-2 defeat to Nancholas that forced a decider in the final rubber of the night.

Dan Bunney didn't disappoint the home side as he got his team over the line in a final leg shootout for a second 3-2 individual for him and his team.
The top two in the league, King Billy and Octagon, came into their clash level on 103 points but the latter belied the pair's inseparable start to the season by inflicting a 9-2 first defeat on the reigning champions.

Fred Goldsmith and Lee Hellings led the Stonehouse team's victory with twelve tons each as the Octagon got out in front early and never looked back as they have often done so during this year's campaign.
John Mann checked the first game of the evening with a 90 kill before Mann paired with Dave Matthews to take their 1001 doubles in just 34 for a 29.44 single dart average.

Hellings and partner Alfie Ford (26.34) joined forces to make the score 3-1 with their doubles in 38 and it was soon 4-1 as Neil White paired with Goldsmith (27.81) for a 36 darter.
The precession didn't stop there was White won his singles 3-1 with the help of a 17 dart leg and Hellings ripped through this 3-0 triumph with a 13 darter.

Goldsmith added a second leg in 17 during a 3-2 win over Paul Palmer who had threw a leg in 17 of his own in the close tie.
Mann made it 8-1 thanks to a 3-0 success against Mark Yeoman who managed one of two 180s hit by the Devonport team.

Antony Hayman finally stopped the barrage as he helped himself to his team's other maximum during a 3-1 win that saw the former Devon, Cornwall and Hampshire man reach twelve tons overall.
That haul contributed to legs of 15 and a brace of 17 darters in the contest; one of which finished with a fine 130 three dart combination outshot.

Ford put the icing on a very fine cake with a sixth leg in 17 during his 3-1 win that saw the now favourites over the line to a commanding seven point lead in the title race.
Eleven tons from Pete Dunbar lit up a close encounter between Kings Arms A and Hyde Park; the Oreston side eventually winning 6-5.

Dunbar's teammate Darran Bailey checked a leg with a 110 finish in a 3-1 defeat to Ben Welsh who added the game's only maximum on his way to eleven tons for the defeated Peverell team.
That Bailey finish was usurped by Mike Sant's 115 checkout in a 3-1 triumph that helped towards forcing a deciding tie, which was dispatched by the mercurial brilliance of Colin Sloman.

Ian Heggie's eleven three figure scores were not enough to stop Raffles from inflicting an 8-3 defeat upon Heggie's Ker St.
Heggie dispatched a leg in 14 and his team's only maximum in a 3-2 defeat to James Ewing whilst both Pete Cornish and Danny Bull produced moments of magic with a 180 and 85 checkout respectively.

Another hard fought contest decided by the odd leg in eleven saw Cherry Tree get the better of their visitors from Victoria.
Dave Lee managed ten tons for the victors whilst Mick Bingham produced an 18 darter and a checkout of 97 that was eventually bettered by teammate Phil Walsh who threw a 140 kill.

James Stoodley ploughed in ten tons as his Bluebird A team took a 9-2 victory from their home meeting with Fawn B.
The evergreen Tony Teal showed there's plenty of life in the old dog with a 98 checkout, a 17 darter and two maximums; a tally that was added to by Stoodley and teammate Glenn Halford who hit a 180 a piece.

Kevin Marshall hit ten tons and a leg in 17 during his Half Moon side's 9-2 defeat to Victory C; a game that saw Jason Goldsmith hit the highest checkout of 98.
Each side hit a 180 a piece as Steve Hiscox and Warren Gordon both struck in an 8-3 win for Colebrook over Saltram.
