Ryan Gives No Carter

Two maximums by Ryan Carter lit up Fawn A's 6-5 win over St Johnston A in the Plymouth Open League Division A.



John Nixon added a third 180 in the contest to give his defeated Keyham outfit some solace from what was the narrowest of defeats.


Dave Williams' 104 combination was the best of all nineteen checkouts in a 7-4 win for Prince Maurice at Weston Mill Oak Villa whilst James Hoblin's 180 helped Mainstone A win 6-5 at Fortescue.


Prince Maurice FC were edged 6-5 by Falstaff but still had Jack Wilkinson finishing 75 with two darts on the bullseye and Lugger B won 8-3 at St Johnston B.



Cherry Tree B hit the same number of 180s as they secured points in a 9-2 defeat against Division A champions Beacon Park as Wayne Davis and Kieran Harris both struck.


A third 180 was plundered in the match with Phil Hoyle netting a solitary effort for the dominant champs who are looking to claim a second title.


Shaun Lamerton's 98 checkout and a 180 by teammate Lee O'Mahony gave Victory the platform for an 8-3 win over Pennycross who had Steve Lamerton checking 76 in a single visit.



In Division B, a score of 174 from Dickie Derbidge gave him the top score as his Fawn B won 7-4 at Legends Lounge B to make it three wins from three starts.


Dan Nixon added a maximum and an 80 checkout that bettered a 77 by George Emery in a 6-5 win for Cherry Tree A at Herbert.


Two ton plus checkouts included a 118 from Ben Webb and a 110 by Dylan Webb came in a 9-2 win for King Billy A over Ker St A.



Ryan Barrett's 113 checkout helped Weston Mill Hotel to a 10-1 success over King Billy B whilst Albemarle got their first win of the campaign with an 8-3 success at Tap & Barrel.


Neil Ashton's 102 checkout gave him one of the two legs won in a 2-1 success that gave Kings Arms a last gasp 6-5 win against Bluebird.


Jack Heath was the hero of the hour for Duchy with a 2-0 win when last on for the away side against Cherry Tree C to win the game 6-5 whilst Mainstone B won at home versus Agaton A 7-4.
