Marc Webber produced the highest possible checkout of 170 in the Monday Premier League 8-3 defeat for Cherry Tree B against Octagon A.

Despite a true moment of magic, Webber ended his singles on the wrong side of a 3-1 defeat to Lee Hellings who won legs in 17 and 15 and reached thirteen tons overall.

Hellings was one of three players to hit a maximum during the match as Simon Washington and Webber's teammate George Beckett achieved the feat.

Dave Lee was also prominent for the defeated team with ten tons whilst Beckett won a leg in 14 during his triumph over Jayden Dodd who hit back with a 17 darter in his 3-1 loss.

Washington was another who managed a 17 dart leg during his 3-1 win on a good night personally, and for the Stonehouse outfit as a team.

Jack McMinn threw everything he had at leaders Tradesmans with fifteen ton plusses but still ended on the wrong side of a 10-1 defeat.

John Mann top scored for runaway leaders Tradesmans with ten tons, including a maximum, whilst Mike O'Brien added his team's second maximum of the match.

Mann checked his 3-0 singles win with legs of 17 and 14 darts with another 14 darter came from the hand of Andy Bates who also paired with teammate Jaden Whitting for a 601 doubles leg in just 17 darts.

Fourteen tons from Richard Wheatley lit up a 10-1 win for Victory A over Brewery Tap that also saw Tony Tasker reach ten tons and Darren Collis finishing in a single visit from 114.

Despite ending the wrong side of a heavy defeat, Del Bryce was in majestic form as he checked 160 in a single visit for the game's highest checkout.

Bryce's scoring form matched his finishing as he joined teammate Lewis Bryne in hitting a maximum for the defeated team.

King Billy returned from their trip to Union Inn with a 7-4 win that was accented by Andrew Cook's ten ton haul.

Spectators at the Cherry Tree A vs Octagon B match were treated to a masterclass of finishing as Dave Wyatt finished 109 in a single visit.

John Goodall's Pennycross outfit won the contest 6-5 with the help of his 107 finish whilst Matt teammate Matt Nicholson scored the only maximum of the match during his last leg deciding singles win.

Despite ending the wrong side of a narrow defeat, Ryan Ring showed good form in his 3-1 singles success when checking a leg in just 18 darts.
