Perfect Hoare From Paul

Paul Hoare's 135 checkout in a Cherry Tree B Monday Premier League 7-4 defeat at the hands of Bluebird A was the best checkout of the week across all fixtures.



That Hoare checkout and a 180 contributed to him ending his night on ten scores of a ton or more in the narrow defeat for the home side.


Lee Hellings fifteen scores of a ton or more lit up the Octagon derby that was won by Hellings' A team by a 7-4 score line.



Hellings' teammate Alfie Ford ended his night on fourteen three figure scores overall whilst Paul Palmer was a ten ton hitter for the victors.


The top scoring player for the designated away team for the night was Jayden Dodd who nailed twelve tons to the board.



Four ton plus checkouts rained down throughout the match with Paul Palmer's 127 the best of a quartet that was also headlined by a 116 from Dodd's teammate Steve Daley.


Darren Smith's 108 for the victors gave him the third best and Hellings completed the bunch with a 100 combination.



Hellings and Edgecombe added a 180 for each side of the local derby divide whilst in the individual phase, Daley and Ford showed there's plenty of life left in the old dogs with some heroics.


Daley got the better of Ford 3-1 with legs of 17 and 18 darts doing the damage against his rival who checked a solitary leg in 18 in riposte.



Darren Collis held his nerve for Victory in a 3-0 singles win when playing last to give the team a 6-5 triumph at Cherry Tree A.


Kelvin Rowe led the scoring phase of the win with twelve tons whilst Quinton Taylor's 180 was the only one of it's kind for the visitors.



Paul Freeman added one of two maximums for the defeated home side whilst Mike Whatley added a 180 on his way to ten tons to make it 2-1 to the hosts in the 180 stakes.


At the business end of legs, there was a smattering of top tungsten that was started by Taylor in a 3-0 win that contained a leg in 15 darts.



Rowe was a 3-2 winner over Whatley with a 17 darter proving crucial whilst Ryan Harris added a 114 checkout during a 3-1 reversal.


A twelve ton tally from James Nicholls joined a four double figure ton hauls for Legend Lounge during a 7-4 win at King Billy.



Lewis Byrne and Sean Taylor finished on eleven tons whilst Frankie Stout collected ten tons overall whilst the most influential player for the defeated team was Paul Goundry.


Goundry added a 180 on his way to a ten ton haul whilst Goundry was one of four players to produce the goods in the individual phase.



Taylor started the event with a 3-0 win that contained an 18 dart leg before Goundry added 14 and 16 darters in a 3-1 triumph.


Andrew Cook's (26.37) 3-0 success saw him check in 17 and 18 darts before Byrne was another 3-0 winner with the same 17 and 18 darts his highlights.



Simon Washington's two maximums for runaway leaders Tradesmans in a 10-1 win over Bluebird B helped him tick his personal ton tally over to the ten mark.


Dale Halford was a 3-1 winner for the defeated team with his team's only maximum coming in that success whilst the finishing phase was dominated by two of Washington's cohort.



Fred Goldsmith's added a leg in 18 darts during his 3-1 success whilst Jaden Whitting put away 102 at the first time of asking during the dominant win to give him the best finish of the contest.


Zak Smith added a leg in 16 darts to defeat Harry Bull 3-0 during an 8-3 success for Smith's Colebrook over Bull's Indian Inn.



Bull was the only recipient of a '180' call after throwing during the matchup whilst teammate Lee Wyatt added a 100 checkout for the best finish.
