Octagon Lee Party

Lee Hellings fifteen ton plus haul fired Octagon A to an 8-3 win at home against Bluebird B in the Monday Premier League.

Hellings total was topped up by the only maximum of the match whilst Hellings was ably supported by the scoring prowess of Sean Burkitt who added eleven tons overall.

Glenn Halford produced the best offerings from the defeated Compton side as he nailed twelve scores of a ton or more throughout.

Halford also teamed with Lee Roberts in the doubles to win 601 legs in 20 and 18 darts whilst Roberts 100 checkout was the best mustered by his particular cohort.

However, that three figure checkout had to settle for second spot for the week in the league as Paul Palmer checked 144 in the very same match.

Of the individual games, Hellings 3-1 triumph produced a winning leg of just 17 darts to take the spoils of the least number of darts over the 501 distance to go alongside plaudits for his scoring phase.

Fourteen three figure scores from Harry Bull couldn't resist the formidable Tradesmans who claimed a 10-1 win at the expense of Bull's Indian.

Danny Bull was also in good nick as he claimed eleven three figure scores whilst the visitors from Stonehouse had Lee Agar in top form with thirteen tons.

Mike O'Brien heard scores of a ton or more called eleven times after throwing whilst teammates John Mann and Jaden Whitting both added ten three figure scores.

Eleven tons from both Mike Whatley and Paul Freeman were not enough top stop King Billy B from coming out on top of their visit to the duo's Cherry Tree A after a 7-4 reversal.

Scott Cook led the scoring charge for the victors with ten tons whilst 180s from teammates Ant Pearn and Paul Goundry helped the Devonport side's cause.

A 9-2 win for Victory over Octagon B was led to that conclusion by the devastating scoring power of Scott Lawrey and Quinton Taylor who managed eleven and ten tons each.

Despite ending the wrong side of a heavy defeat, Ryan Ring still had time to put a checkout of 90 onto the scoreboard to give him the highest of all thirty-one finishes in the match.

Antony Hayman (29.47) lit up King Billy A's 7-4 over Cherry Tree B with a fabulous individual display that contained legs in 16, 17 and 18 darts in his 3-0 singles success.

Hayman also joined teammate Kev Lofthouse in hitting a maximum whilst Marc Webber's 91 checkout for the defeated side was the best each of the sides could manage.

Bluebird A were 8-3 winners at home against Colebrook with the main highlights coming from Owen Cook's 94 kill in a single visit whilst Dale Halford added the game's only maximum.
