O'Brien Taking The Michael With Super Display

Mike O'Brien produced some magic darts in the Louis Yates Plymouth & District Darts League with eleven tons to lead Tradesmans A to a 9-4 success over Falstaff.

O'Brien's (27.81) night culminated in a 36 dart singles leg that was matched over the 1001 distance by three of his teammates who teamed to put away a trebles in the same number of darts thrown.

Ben Waters, Andrew Nation and Jayden Dodd (27.81) formed a formidable team to bag their best leg whilst Dodd and Waters didn't end their heroics there.

Dodd checked a doubles game with a game high checkout of 121 whilst Waters (26.34) went on to put on a 38 darter in his individual game.

Waters was the also the only recipient of a '180' call in the match that leaves the title chasers twenty-eight from the top with two games in hand.

Simon Washington lit up leaders Kings Tamerton's 10-3 win over Cattedown Social Club with an eleven ton haul that contained the only maximum of the matchup.

Jordan Grimshaw's performance in Victory's 13-0 win over Weston Mill Oak Villa saw him end the match with ten tons and the highest of all twelve checkouts in the match; a 90 kill.

Harry McFerran (30.33) netted a least number of darts and high checkout combo in the same 1001 leg that ended in 33 darts with a 132 checkout during King Billy's 10-3 win at Cherry Tree.

McFerran added one of three maximums in that particular leg with teammate Kieran Burns adding to a Dan Nixon three treble visit for the defeated side.

Steve Ebsworth's 103 three dart combination out shot joined a 180 from teammate Sean Taylor as the main highlights of an 8-5 win for Legends Lounge at Octagon.

Lewis Byrne's maximum was the only one of it's kind during a 12-1 win for Windmill at Ker St whilst Chris Adams added a 108 kill during an 8-5 success for Tradesmans B over Pennycross.
