Nick Bryant (28.90) once again showed his undoubted class in the Plymouth City Super League Division A with a 3-0 win that contained legs in 14 and 18 darts.

The entertaining individual phase of the 7-4 win for Cherry Tree D at Indian Inn A opened with a 3-2 win for Dave Lee, who nailed a 17 dart leg to provide the difference.

Phil Hoyle claimed a 3-2 win with his 16 darter proving crucial in another close encounter before Bryant bagged a 109 checkout during his aforementioned triumph.

A 3-2 win went the way of the home side as Dave Matthews fired a 17 dart leg to make the difference in the third singles game that went the distance.

In the scoring phase, Bryant and Keith Carter heard scores of a ton or more called twelve times each during the competitive affair.

Phil Hoyle played his supporting role well with eleven three figure visits whilst the 180s in the close contested matchup were shared between the two sides.

Stan Preen and Quinton Taylor both fired for the victors to match efforts from Harry Bull, who ended his night on twelve tons, and Danny Bull who had his eleven ton haul matched.

Matthews provided the second eleven ton tally for the home side whilst Danny Bull's 115 three dart outshot provided the best combination out of the tie overall.

Simon Stevenson powered home sixteen three-figure visits but still found himself on the wrong end of a 6-5 defeat as Fawn A downed Cornwall Gate in the very last leg.

Andy Malinowski provided twelve ton plusses to support Stevenson, including a 180 whilst Dave Pethick added a maximum for the successful home team.

Sharpshooting at the business end came from Stevenson, who nailed a 92 checkout and an 18 dart leg in his 3-1 triumph.

Mike Trim showed his undoubted brilliance with an 84 checkout, which contributed to leaving the game on a knife-edge going into the final singles.

It was Pethick who was the hero of the hour after being taken to the last possible leg with a 3-2 triumph to get the Greenbank outfit over the line.

George Beckett fired thirteen ton plusses, which couldn't arrest his Steampacket side's slip to a 7-4 Devonport derby defeat at King Billy A.

Beckett added the only maximum of the contest to that haul, whilst his 92 checkout and 17 dart leg helped him over the line to a 3-2 singles win.

Teammate Nick Miller showed his class with legs in 16 and 18 darts that contributed to a 3-0 triumph in the individual phase

The best leg from the home victors was over the 601 distance as Paul Palmer and Mark Yeoman paired for a 17 darter, and 104 by Alec Turner gave him the best checkout overall.

Sean Taylor netted himself a thirteen ton haul for champions Octagon, which led them to a 10-1 win at Bluebird A.

Taylor's total was propped up by his team's only maximum of the contest, with the other going to Glenn Austin, whilst teammate Dale Halford bagged himself a twelve ton tally.

Tony Teal's 77 combination outshot gave him the best finish of the matchup overall, and in the singles, four men from the away cohort produced individual magic.

Taylor notched a leg in 17 darts during his 3-2 win before John Mann added an 18 darter on his way to a 3-0 triumph.

A leg in 16 helped Neil White to a 3-1 triumph before Andy Bates popped up with a 14 dart leg on his way to a victory by the same scoreline.

Twelve tons came from the arm of Dave Hollow alongside eleven more from teammate Frankie Stout, which gave Cherry Tree C the platform to claim a 7-4 win over Kings Tamerton.

180s propped up both tallies, and there was a solitary three treble visit from Danny Hoyle, who ended his night on ten tons for the defeated side.

Hoyle's stablemate Matt Chegwin added an 81 checkout that was only bettered by a 100 kill for Nathan Langdon.

Langdon showed his prowess in an individual win that also contained a leg put away in just 17 darts during a 3-0 success.

Heather Toney fired eleven tons to lead Cherry Tree B to a 6-5 win over Victory B, for whom Lee O'Mahony also contributed eleven scores of a ton or more.

The 180s were shared between the two teams as Victory's Phil Ingram's effort was matched by Cherry Tree's Tony Reid.

Reid also showed his finishing prowess with an 82 combination outshot that only played second fiddle to two 90 checkouts from AJ Brunton and Chris Beale.

Kevin Seal put up eleven tons, and ten more were added from the arm of Simon Washington in an 8-3 win for Tradesmans versus St Levans.

Seal and Washington both added three treble visits to their tallies whilst the best the away side could muster was a 107 combination out from John Sturdy.
