Mike Pearce (28.35) put on quite the show in the Steve Chapman 501 League with a 3-0 win that contained legs in 14 and 15 darts.

Despite coupling that performance with fifteen scores of a ton or more, Pearce still found himself on the wrong side of a 7-4 loss as St Levans were downed by Cherry Tree B.

Pearce's tally included one of his team's two maximums, with Harry MacGregor finding the other three treble visit.

The away side fired back four 180s as Mark Shears' brace saw solitary efforts from Jason Pinkerton and Mike Whatley alongside it on the scoresheet.

Pearce, along with his brother and teammate Tex Pearce, both achieved double figures in tons, with Tex securing eleven.

Scott Lawrey (26.37) continued his run of good form for Victory A with an emphatic 3-0 individual triumph during an 8-3 win over Cherry Tree D.

Lawrey nailed a leg in 16 darts during that affair whilst teammate Paul Goundry also claimed a 16 darter during a 3-1 success.

Steve Towl bagged himself a 16 dart leg in a 3-1 loss to Darren Collis, who checked one leg in just 15 during another 3-1 success that also saw a 118 checkout.

That effort was narrowly bettered with a 120 from Kelvin Rowe in his 3-2 defeat, whilst Towl's stablemate Cameron O'Brien put on legs in 16 and 17 darts during a 3-2 singles success.

The heavy hitters in the scoring phase of play were O'Brien and Towl with twelve tons, which bettered ten tons each for the trio of Lawrey, Collis, and Tony Tasker.

Tom Full netted eleven ton plusses and that was followed by ten more from Paul Tackle, but the pair still ended their night with a 7-4 reversal as Bar Mez were downed by Beacon Park.

That win owed much to the form of Beau Carter, who was a ten ton hitter with two of the three maximums going his way.

The third 180 of the contest saw Lee Rodmell here that score called after throwing whilst Carter's 14 darter helped him to a 3-1 victory.

Rhys Castle's heard scores of a ton or more called no fewer than eleven times in a 7-4 win for Firkin Scholar versus The Exchange.

Castle's teammate Joe Boniface fired the only maximum of the matchup whilst the highlight reel at the business end of the legs contained efforts from Castle and Graham White.

Castle's 3-1 win saw a leg fall after just 16 darts whilst White checked 94 in a single visit to the board, which proved crucial in his 3-2 success.

Ten tons apiece for the quartet of John Mann, Lee Agar, Simon Washington, and Sean Taylor gave Fawn B the ammunition to take an 11-0 win in the Fawn derby against their A team.

Taylor's best effort of his total was a 110 checkout that bettered a 108 combo from teammate and talisman Jack McMinn.

Taylor also contributed an 18 dart leg in his 3-0 win that was one dart more than the 17 darter, which was first by Fred Goldsmith in another 3-0 success.

The main reason King Billy were 10-1 better than Duchy was because of the form of Frankie Stout and Andrew Cook, who reached ten tons each.

Stout's crowning glory of that total was the highest checkout of the week, which was checked in three darts at the first time of asking from 126.

Adam Hill's 110 combination for the defeated team settled for the bridesmaid position in the finishing stakes, whilst the only 180 came from Stout's stablemate Paddy Archibald.

Rolling back the years was Ralph Lancaster as the legend nailed ten tons to lead Octagon to a 7-4 win over Indian Inn.

The 180s in the matchup were shared between the two teams as Alfie Ford and Ian Heggie both fired that score on a solitary occasion each, whilst Cherry Tree A got the better of Tradesmans by a scoreline of 7-4.

A 7-4 win for Kings Arms at Victory Fireballs was built on a platform that contained 180s for Paul Palmer and Alec Turner.

Palmer showed his class with a leg in 14 darts, which proved crucial in a 3-2 triumph, and Reg Matthews' 3-0 success was accentuated with a 92 combination outshot.

Checkouts of 100 from Melvyn German and a 109 by Nick Miller helped Cherry Tree C to an 11-0 win over Victory Hammers.

Nick Bryant was one of four 3-0 winners, thanks in part to a leg in 16 darts whilst the only noteworthy contribution from the defeated away side came from Ryan Harris' 180.
