McMinn's Scoring Spree Takes Bluebird Derby
Jack McMinn excelled in the Bluebird derby with seventeen three figure scores overall in the 8-3 win for his A side over the B team in the Monday Premier League.

A frantic contest saw McMinn's teammate Alan Masters also manage ten tons whilst McMinn paired with Keith Whitley (28.62) for a 601 leg in just 21 darts.
Shaune Kittle added the game's only maximum for the victorious team but it wasn't one way traffic throughout by any stretch.

Dale Halford added twelve tons to the scoreboard whilst Dan Hurley scored eleven and checked a leg with a fine 92 finish.
Anthony Pearn's sixteen three figure scores for Victory B helped them to an 8-3 success over King Billy; a performance from Pearn that was rounded off by a 16 darter in a 3-2 singles win.

Matt Chegwin was prominent for the defeated team with a 129 checkout, a maximum and a 15 darter in his 3-0 individual win.
One of the other two points taken by the King Billy was from the hand of Andrew Cook (25.91) who put ten tons on the board and won the Cook family derby 3-0 thanks to a brace of 18 darters against his brother Scott.

Harry Bull lit up Indian Inn's clash with Bluebird C with fourteen tons plusses but still ended on the wrong side of a 7-4 defeat.
That was largely down to the form of Glenn Austin who hit a 117 checkout on his way to ten ton plusses; a finish that was only bettered by a 120 from teammate Micky Organ.

Runaway leaders Tradesmans whitewashed Cherry Tree B 11-0; a performance that was spearheaded by twelve tons from John Mann.
Winning legs in a 3-1 singles success over George Beckett, who reached twelve tons himself, were won by Mann in just 17, 14 and 18 darts.

Mike O'Brien and Jaden Whitting both added ten tons each for the champions elect whilst Andy Bates added the game's only maximum.
Octagon A, who are left thirty-eight points behind and fighting for runners-up spot, won 9-2 over Victory A thanks to a twelve ton haul from Jayden Dodd.

Dodd's 116 checkout was the best on offer from the two teams; beating a 100 checkout from Simon Washington who himself added eleven ton plusses for the Stonehouse side.
Alfie Ford's ten tons contributed to a fine performance from the team as a whole as both Lee Hellings and Washington checked legs in 17 darts during their respective 3-1 singles successes.

Dodd joined Victory's Tony Tasker and Richard Wheatley in hitting a 180 a piece; the latter adding nine more tons to take his evening's total to ten.
Wheatley also won a singles game 3-0 with the help of a leg in 18 to give the Honicknowle team one of the two points they took during the match.

Paul Freeman's 145 checkout and maximum lit up a 7-4 defeat for Cherry Tree A against Union Inn, who had Nathan Langdon finishing from 110 in a single visit.
Paul Barclay produced something like his best for Octagon B with a brace of maximums during a 7-4 defeat to Brewery Tap.

Despite ending the wrong side of a narrow defeat, the Octagon produced all of the notable moments during the game as Chris Edgcumbe threw a third maximum for the team and Billy Rennie finish 98 in a single visit.
