Jack McMinn's total of sixteen three-figure visits to the dartboard lit up Fawn B's 9-2 win at Kings Arms in the Steve Chapman 501 League.

McMinn's teammate John Mann provided the second most tons with thirteen, whilst the pair of Simon Washington and Sean Taylor both bagged a dozen ton plus visits.

Washington's tally was accentuated by a 180, as was Fred Goldsmith's eleven ton haul, with the other maximum coming from the home team and the arm of Paul Palmer.

Palmer's teammate, Bruce Harrison, ended his night with ten tons overall but found himself on the wrong end of a 3-2 defeat against McMinn.

The difference between the two was 18 and 16 dart legs from the victor whilst Mann and teammate Lee Agar put together a doubles game that was ended in just 17 darts over the 601 distance.

A thirteen ton haul by Dan Brazier helped creep Cherry Tree A over the line to a 6-5 win at Bar Mez that was ended in the final singles rubber.

Jacob Bentham was the lucky recipient of the double-yew in the eleventh game with a 3-1 triumph, whilst Lee Rodmell's heroics helped keep the game close.

Rodmell ended his night on eleven tons for the defeated team, and his teammate Tom Full fired a 110 checkout that was the best of all thirty-one finishes in the closely fought matchup.

Thirteen ton plusses for Brandon Hartley and twelve more from the arm of Andrew Cook gave King Billy the platform from which to launch an 11-0 win over Beacon Park.

The difference between Cook and Hartley's ton tallies was the two 180s from the former, which contributed to five overall for the home team.

The trio of Paddy Archibald, Lewis Byrne, and Frankie Stout all fired in a solitary maxi of their own whilst three ton plus checkouts lit up the business end of legs.

The best of those was a 136 by Scott Cook, which bettered Byrne's 110 and the only moment of magic for the defeated team came from Jason Smout's 100 kill that ended an 18 darter during a 3-1 loss to Hartley.

Hartley set about his opponent in that matchup, claiming the two best legs of 501 in the contest overall with 13 and 17 darters helping him over the line.

Cameron O'Brien showed why his stock is continuing to rise with a twelve ton haul that gave Cherry Tree D the platform to claim a 7-4 win over Victory Fireballs.

O'Brien's teammate Kevin Lofthouse put up a 140 checkout that bettered a 105 from Martin Pearson, and Lofthouse was amongst a cohort of two who hit a 180 in the match, as Chris Harper notched.

Eleven tons rained down from the arm of Ian Heggie, but that still wasn't enough for the Indian Inn to make inroads into their 10-1 loss against Cherry Tree C.

Most of the running for the successful away side was performed by Nick Bryant, who helped himself to ten tons overall.

Teammate Lee Hellings bagged two of the three maximums in the contest whilst Heggie's sparing partner, Mark Hatherley, added a solitary maximum for the defeated team.

Hellings 3-0 individual success saw 100 put away in a single visit, but that effort had to settle for second best as Melvyn German had earlier picked up a 108 combination out.

Hellings and German knitted well together in the 601 doubles phase as their 19 darter proved crucial in a 2-1 success.

The highlights of a 10-1 win for Victory A at Tradesmans included a 120 checkout for Scott Lawrey, whilst both 180s went the way of the defeated team as Mitchell Grimshaw and Chris Adams both struck.

Jack Heath's heroic 180 and leg in 17 darts got him over the line in a 3-2 individual triumph that came in Duchy's 7-4 loss against The Exchange.

Another close encounter between Rob Wills and Jack Gilbert ended 3-2 to the latter despite a 90 combination checkout by the former.

A Mike Nancholas 115 combination outshot couldn't arrest Fawn A's slide to a 7-4 loss against Octagon, for whom Jayden Dodd claimed a leg in 18 darts.
