May The Force Be With You

Rob May's 150 checkout for reigning Monday Premier League champions Tradesmans was the main highlight of an 11-0 away win at Bluebird A that started the new season ominously for the chasing pack.

May's teammate Mike O'Brien was a ten ton hitter as he top scored for the Stonehouse team whilst O'Brien and Agar were prominent in the individual phase.

O'Brien's 3-0 win contained an 18 darter that had to play bridesmaid to Agar's leg in 17 whilst a 93 checkout rounded off a decent night for Agar individually, and for the team.

Scott Cook fired one of the four maximums in the match on his way to twelve ton plusses for King Billy in an 8-3 win at Victory.

Teammate Paul Gavican added a second for the away side whilst Darren Collis enjoyed his return to competitive action with a 180 that was matched by his stablemate Quinton Taylor for the home outfit.

Taylor's maximum ticked his personal ton tally over to the ten mark whilst Cook was a 3-1 winner in the individuals thanks in part to a 15 dart leg, which joined an Ant Pearn 18 darter in another 3-1 triumph.

Jayden Dodd bagged himself twelve tons for Octagon B as they started the season with a 6-5 win over Cherry tree A.

Dodd wasn't the only one throwing fireworks for the Stonehouse side as teammate Steve Daley took out 86 in a single visit to the board for the highest checkout of the game.

Dan Giles ten tons might've not been beaten but that total couldn't arrest Colebrook's slide to a 7-4 loss against Bluebird B.

Giles' teammate Nick Furneaux showed him finishing prowess with a 107 combination out whilst Glenn Austin checked a leg in 17 to defeat Furneaux 3-1.
