Mann Hay-makered By Antony
The two most talented marksman in Plymouth met in the Monday Premier League and did not fail in entertaining onlookers in an 8-3 success for Tradesmans over King Billy.

Antony Hayman fired two 180s to better his long time sparing partner John Mann 3-2 in a world class darts match that saw none of the individual legs go beyond six visits.
Hayman's 13, 14 and 16 dart legs made Mann, who checked two legs in 17 and 18 darts, finally submit in a relentless display.

Hayman finished on twelve tons whilst Mann's fourteen three figure scores wasn't beaten by any player in the league on the night.
Mann added a checkout of 105 to that total and was well supported in his team's win by Mike O'Brien who added twelve tons including a maximum.

Andy Bates was also prominent with a 180 on his way to ten tons whilst Andrew Cook provided eleven three figures scores for the defeated team.
Mann vs Hayman was the only high quality game of singles in the match; that phase of play started off with a 3-0 success for O'Brien that had a 15 darter contained within.

Bates (25.05) added a leg in 18 whilst Fred Goldsmith found an 18 darter in a 3-1 defeat to Cook that saw the Cornwall man produce a leg in 16.
Antony Pearn's thirteen three figure scores helped get Victory B over the line in a 7-4 away win at Cherry Tree B; for whom George Beckett was once again prominent.

Beckett added twelve tons, including the game's only maximum, and an 88 checkout on a night where the two top scoring players both lost their singles matches.
Steve Towl's eleven ton haul was a big contributor to an 8-3 win for Colebrook over Octagon B that also saw Dan Giles checkout at the first time asking from 112.

Alfie Ford top scored with eleven tons for Octagon A as the Stonehouse side claimed an 8-3 success over Victory A.
Ford's stablemate Lee Hellings also scored heavily with ten tons whilst Scott Lawrey was the best for the Honicknowle home side with a ten ton haul that included a maximum and a 120 checkout.

Remarkably, that checkout was bettered twice in the match with Quinton Taylor's 130 and a 147 from Jayden Dodd bettering Lawrey's excellent visit.
In a 3-0 success at the start of the individual phase, Hellings 17 darter was the shortest 501 leg from any of the twelve throwers on display.
Jack McMinn's eleven tons weren't enough to see Bluebird A arrest a slide to a 7-4 defeat against Indian Inn who had two out of the three Bulls in good form.

Danny Bull provided his team's only maximum whilst Harry Bull checked 90 in one visit; a finish that was only bettered by McMinn's 105.
Alan Masters 3-0 success in the individual phase of the match was the only effort of it's kind throughout the match for the Compton.

Mike Whatley's ten tons helped put nine more points onto the total of the Cherry Tree A after their 9-2 success at Victory C.
Matt Nicholson was also prominent with a 15 darter, a maximum and a 143 checkout that put Trafford Clevett's 101 into second place for the highest of this particular match.

The Bluebird derby between the C and B teams was dominated by the Halford family on opposite teams as Glenn Halford's ten tons stole the show and the game away in an 8-3 success for his C team.
Halford's 100 checkout couldn't be matched whilst Dale Halford fired in the only maximum of a well fought contest between the two stablemates.
