Lock, Jock & Three Smoking Barrels

Alex Brown's 154 in Falstaff A's 7-4 Plymouth Open League Division A defeat to Weston Mill Oak Villa was the highest checkout by some distance across all fixtures played during game week thirteen.

Bottom of the pile Mainstone B fell victim to a 9-2 defeat at the hands of Ker St C whilst a 114 from Richard Wheatley was nestled alongside a maximum from Marc Mills in Lugger A's 9-2 win over Fortescue.

Nick Bryant's excellent display led the leaders Beacon Park to a 7-4 away win at Prince Maurice with Bryant's contribution not ending at the 16 darter in his 2-0 individual success.

Bryant also joined teammate Phil Hoyle in putting a maximum onto the scoreboard as the visitors kept their two point lead in the standings.

A checkout of 74 from Neil White in Victory's 7-4 win over Cherry Tree B was only bettered by an 83 single visit kill from Rob Edmunds for the defeated team.

A 74 from Bill Daley was the highest checkout provided by any of the competitors on display during a 9-2 win for St Johnson A over Weston Mill.

Division B leaders Lugger B got over the line 6-5 against outsiders for the league crown Fawn whilst St Levans claimed an 8-3 triumph in their visit to Ker St B.

A 10-1 win for Legends Lounge over bottom side Firkin Scholar saw Scott Wardle fire a 17 darter during his 2-0 individual success.

Wardle's teammate Matthews Bridge also lit up the triumph with a 107 three dart combination outshot, which contributed to a big win that leaves the St Budeaux side nicely poised just three points behind the top team.

The only moment of magic from both sides in Prince Maurice's 9-2 win over King Billy A came from the arm of Jack Wilkinson who checked 100 at the first time of asking.

Cherry Tree A had Stephen Heffron firing a 103 checkout and Alan James hitting a maximum but still found themselves on the wrong end of an 8-3 defeat at the hands of King Billy B.

Third placed Pennycross were downed for only the third time in the league as they fell to a 7-4 defeat in their visit to Mainstone A.
