Lee-ghting Up The Board
Lee Hellings chalked up a mammoth fifteen tons, which sparked life into his Octagon A team's 8-3 win over King Billy in the Monday Premier League.

Hellings added his team's only 180 to that tally whilst Paul Palmer was also influential with fourteen scores of a ton or more.
Alfie Ford was also a ten ton hitter for the victors and hit checkouts of 158 and 117, with a 120 by Palmer sandwiched in the middle of them.

Hellings defeated Scott Cook 3-1 in the singles, who ended his night with fifteen ton plusses for his night's work.
Cook hit two maximums and an 18 darter in that defeat whilst Hellings put on a leg in just 16 darts for the first individual triumph of a titanic tussle.

Luke Johnson added a 17 darter in a 3-1 loss to Andrew Cook, who also checked a leg in the same number of darts.
Palmer then won his individual game with a 3-1 triumph that was helped along by a leg in 15 darts before Dave Matthews found a leg in 18 during a 3-0 success.

John Mann's thirteen scores of a ton or more put Tradesmans in charge of their 9-2 local derby win over Octagon B.
Mann's tally was topped up by checkouts of 104 and 116 whilst teammate Mike O'Brien contributed kills of 110 and 106 to the affair.

The next best scoring player came from the defeated cohort as Chris Edgecombe found eleven tons, including one of the three 180s plundered between the two sides.
Fred Goldsmith and Simon Washington both added to Edgecombe's three treble visit whilst excellent legs were put away in four of the six individual games.

Edgecombe started proceedings with a 3-2 win that saw what turned out to be a crucial 13 darter before Alec Turner repeated that 3-2 success in the second rubber.
Turner's critical leg came in 17 darts before O'Brien (25.47) put on legs in 17 and 18 darts during a rampant 3-0 success.

Washington rounded off the affair with another comfortable 3-0 triumph with his best leg coming in just 15 darts.
A 7-4 win for Bluebird B over Colebrook was dominated by the scoring of Glenn and Dale Halford, who both reached ten tons overall.

Jon Crotty also added a ten ton haul of his own for the defeated team whilst the latter of the two Halfords notched a 180 amongst his three figure visits.
At the business end of legs, Nick Furneaux and Dan Giles both created fireworks with checkouts of 96 and 94, respectively, whilst the best legs were shared between the Halfords.

Glenn managed an 18 darter in his 3-1 triumph whilst Dale provided a leg in 18 of his own, which sat nicely alongside a 16 darter during a 3-0 victory.
Ten tons from Sean Taylor lit up Legends Lounge's 11-0 win over Cherry Tree B, a total which was topped up by a 125 checkout.

That effort bettered a 116 by teammate James Nicholls whilst Tom Graham found the only three treble visit to the board of the contest.
Two 180s by Al Rowe plus another for Harry Bull provided the platform from which Indian Inn launched their 7-4 success over Bluebird A.

Stuart Couling bagged a maximum for the defeated team whilst Warren Page's 70 combination out gave him the best checkout of the game.
