Jordan Form Grim Reading For Title Rivals

Jordan Grimshaw's efforts in the Louis Yates Plymouth & District Darts League continue to sustain Victory's title credentials after a 10-3 win for his team away at Tradesmans B.

Grimshaw's ton tally was ticked over to ten with checkouts of 134 and 100; the former taking the high checkout honours in the league for both the week and the season so far.

That effort bettered a 102 from colleague Glyn Wells who also added a 180 to his own ten ton personal haul to support Grimshaw well.

Grimshaw (30.33) added his biggest checkout of the duo in a 33 dart 1001 leg that gave him the highest checkout and least number of darts combination for the week.

David Young (27.05) won one of the three points claimed by the defeated home side with a 37 darter in his 1001 individuals, which settled for the league's second best of game week six.

An outshot of 77 was the only moment of magic between both sides in a 9-4 win for Legends Lounge against Windmill.

Lee Pare's maximum helped Pennycross to an 8-5 success over King Billy whilst Cherry Tree picked up their first win of the season with an emphatic 11-2 win over Weston Mill Oak Villa.

Reigning champions Tradesmans A continued their strong start in the three way early title race with a solid 13-0 success over Ker St whilst Octagon were 7-6 winners over Falstaff and Grenville won 8-5 at Mainstone.
