Jayden Dodd It Again

The Louis Yates Plymouth and District Darts League was lit up by Jayden Dodd who plundered ten ton plusses for Tradesmans in an 11-2 win at Pennycross.

Teammate Mike Hill added a checkout of 102 to a 79 from Andy Waters as Hill took the joint best checkout for game week 7.

Richard Wheatley and Waters (27.05) made it a high checkout and least number of darts combination with a 1001 leg that was ended after just 37 darts.

Ben Waters (25.67) ploughed home his 1001 points in a 39 dart individual game, which was the third shortest leg of the season so far.

Hill's aforementioned finish was matched by Dave Jones in a 7-6 win for Mainstone over King Billy; a win that keeps the home side firmly in the early title picture.

Steve Daley (25.03) checked after throwing 40 darts for Octagon A in the Octagon derby but Paul Sykes 180 and 92 checkout contributed to a 7-6 win for the B team.

Geordie Baker and Dan Nixon both fired 180s for Windmill but Anthony Reed was the hero of the hour with a last leg shootout win for Cattedown by a 7-6 score line.

Ty Carthy nailed a maximum but still found himself on the wrong end of a 7-6 loss as champions and league leaders Kings Tamerton were downed by Royal Naval Arms.

Legends Lounge were 8-5 winners over The Club @ Stoke whilst Cherry Tree were victors by the same margin at Ford Inn.
