Mike O'Brien (28.60) lit up the board with thirteen tons and a 35 dart leg but still found himself on the wrong end of a Louis Yates Plymouth & District Darts League defeat as Tradesmans lost 7-6 to Royal Naval Arms.

The top game of the contest went to the home side's team of Nathan Beeney, Jordan Grimshaw, John Abbott, Sam Frampton, Shane Roberts, and Kevin Evans (30.33) in just 33 darts to match the season's best.
O'Brien also teamed with Richard Wheatley (26.34) for a doubles win in 38, whilst Wheatley joined Beeney as the two players to achieve a 180.

The largest checkout of the contest came from the arm of Matt Abbott whilst Grimshaw was the hero of the hour with the last leg deciding victory.
Eleven tons by Matt Legge couldn't arrest Cattedown Social Club's slide to a 7-6 loss at Octagon A, who themselves had Ryan Ring (27.05) producing a stunning 37 darter over the 1001 distance.

Legge's teammate Shane Monaghan showed scoring prowess by putting on the only three treble visit of the matchup.
Richard Lynch (27.05) added a 37 dart 1001 leg to Kings Tamerton's 9-4 triumph when hosting the visitors from Pennycross.

Cameron O'Brien produced a 180, which sat nicely alongside his 95 checkout that claimed the highest of the game week in an 11-2 win for Mainstone versus Stoke Inn B.
Chris Nixon held his nerve against 180 hitter Matt Baker to secure the final leg of a 7-6 triumph for Windmill at Legends Lounge.

A 180 from Alan Cocks and a last leg deciding win for Alan Martin came in a 7-6 success for Octagon A at Stoke Inn A.
Chris Hooper's 180 contributed to a 13-0 win for Falstaff over Cherry Tree that leaves them nicely poised just five back in the title race.
