Hellings Form Shows No Sign Of Quelling
Lee Hellings (30.06) showed his undoubted class with a magic display in the Monday Premier League during an 11-0 win for Octagon A over Bluebird A.

Hellings checked in 15 and 16 darts during his brilliant 3-0 win with the shorter of the two legs being plundered with a 160 checkout that was the joint best of the game, week and season so far.
Paul Palmer (26.37) also put together a well crafted showing with an 18 darter his best of that particular 3-0 success.

Palmer was also the only recipient of a '180' call after throwing the match whilst Jayden Dodd top scored with fourteen three figure scores for the Stonehouse outfit.
Palmer was next best with eleven tons and Hellings made it a trio to double figure ton hitters with ten of his own.

Hellings mammoth checkout bettered Dodd's 112 which had to settled for the third best finish as Paul Hendy checked 118 at the first time asking.
Thirteen tons from Chris Edgecombe for the Octagon B in a 7-4 defeat at King Billy B was accented by his 160 checkout that matched Hellings effort on the same night.

The Devonport side's win was anchored by Scott Cook's ten ton personal haul whilst the 180s in the match were shared 2-1 to Cook's side.
Paddy Archibald joined teammate Paul Goundry in achieving a maximum with Edgecombe's teammate Steve Daley adding his team's solitary effort.

Andrew Cook's thirteen scores of a ton or more led King Billy A to a fine 7-4 win over Indian Inn with Cook's tally propped up by one of the two maximums his team hit.
Kev Lofthouse was the other 180 hitter and added that to his 113 combination out that wasn't bettered by any of the twelve on display.

Cook was well supported by Antony Hayman who netted eleven tons whilst Harry Bull top scored for the defeated home side with eleven three figure scores.
Cook's 17 and 18 dart legs during his 3-1 success were blown away by an 11 darter by Bull's teammate Lee Wyatt in a 3-1 defeat to Hayman.

Zak Smith's eleven tons and ten by teammate Nick Furneaux were the catalyst for Colebrook's 7-4 win at Cherry Tree B that was only their fourth success of the campaign.
Mike Whatley fired a 180 on his way to eleven tons for Cherry Tree A as they saw the fortunes of their B side reversed with a 7-4 win over Bluebird B.
Tradesmans hold on the league continued with an 8-3 win over second placed Victory that contained a ten ton haul by Mike O'Brien.

O'Brien fired a 132 checkout that bettered a 100 kill from John Mann, which settled for third best in the out shots as Tony Tasker nailed a 110 combination.
There was five maximums by the six on display for the champions elect with Mann joining Lee Agar, Fred Goldsmith, Simon Washington and Jaden Whitting in achieving a three treble visit.

O'Brien teamed well with Whitting (29.31) to put away their 601 doubles 2-0 thanks to legs in 20 and 21 darts whilst the best over the 501 distance came from Agar.
A 14 darter helped him to a 3-0 win whilst Mann's 17 darter and O'Brien's leg in 18 during their 3-0 wins were also highlights of another dominant win.
