Heath's Checkout Leaves Jordan On Air

Jordan Heath whittled away 150 points in just three darts to set a Plymouth City Super League Division B high checkout for the week and season so far in a 9-2 win for Duchy over Herbert B.

Heath added that effort in a 3-2 singles success that also contained a leg in 15 darts whilst teammate Nick Bromley managed an 18 darter and a 105 kill in his singles.

Bromley added to Jack Heath's maximum with one of his own, and the top scoring player was Callum Horn for the defeated team with eleven ton plusses.

Mick Bingham fired two 180s ans a checkout of 120 on his way to eleven ton plusses for Victoria in a 7-4 win over Bluebird B.

Bingham helped himself to two legs in 18 darts during a 3-0 win, whilst the only moment of magic for the defeated side came in the form of a 74 checkout by Jamie Roberts.

Niall McGarvey was the undoubted star in a 10-1 win for Clifton with a 90 checkout, a 180, and a leg of 501 put away in just 14 darts in the success over King Billy B.

A 6-5 win for Kings Arms A at Hyde Park contained a 180 from Chrissie Kinnaird in a close encounter that saw eight games decided by a solitary leg.

One of those was a 3-2 win for Ben Welsh, whose leg in 16 darts proved to be pivotal during the final individual game.

A 6-5 win for Cherry Tree A at Victory B was guided over the line in the final individual game by Adam Truscott with a 3-0 success.

Truscott's teammate James Smith added the game's only maximum, which sat nicely alongside an 82 checkout that was the best of three mid-range finishes.

Rhys Castle's bagged a 72 kill for the defeated team that pushed a 71 by Smith's stablemate Adam Fell into third best for the contest overall.

Seth Thompson's 18 darter in Staddiscombe's 9-2 win over Duchy B was joined by an 80 checkout from teammate Ollie Thompson as the only moments of magic in the impressive success.

Matt Anderson's 80 combination out for Fawn B in their 7-4 win at Herbert Loyals was only bettered by an 89 by Callum Phillips for the defeated team.

Roger Bailey and Fred Lamerton added the best leg of 601 of 22 darts during an 8-3 win for Ker St A over Indian B, for whom Chris Lancaster checked 102 in a single visit.
