He Cam, He Saw, He Conquered!

Cameron O'Brien's (27.81) produced a magical 36 dart leg for Mainstone to take the final least number of darts prize of the regular season in the Louis Yates Plymouth & District Darts League.

That fabulous effort came in an 8-5 success for Mainstone over Weston Mill Oak Villa whilst Andrew Nation put on eleven tons for Tradesmans A in an 8-5 win at Victory.

Mike O'Brien added the highest checkout of the week of 105 during a trebles won by O'Brien, Nation and Andy Waters (26.34) in 38 darts over the 1001 distance.

Shaun Williams teamed with Jordan Grimshaw and Matt Abbott (26.34) in the other trebles for the home side to put another 38 darter on the scoreboard in the first trebles whilst the full Victory team won the first in 42.

The 180s in the match were shared between the two teams as Ben Waters joined Glyn Wells for the defeated team in achieving that particular feat.

Kieran Burns added ten tons to a King Billy 9-4 win at Cattedown Social Club whilst the league title is now Kings Tamerton's to throw away after an 11-2 success against Tradesmans B.

After that win which contained two maximums from Simon Washington, the champions elect just need a win of any kind over third placed Victory in their only rearranged game to seal a much deserved title.

Richie Lynch (27.05) fired a 37 dart 1001 leg in his individual game whilst another highlight came from the arm of Paul Sanders with a 76 checkout.

180s by Chris Edgecumbe and Dave Wyatt gave Octagon the platform to claim a 9-4 win over Pennycross who had Lee Pare firing a three treble visit for the defeated team.

Tommy Graham fired a 74 out for Legends Lounge as they took Ker St to the cleaners 11-2 whilst Cherry Tree were winners by an 8-5 score line over Windmill.
