Giles Farms Maxis In Brilliant Win
Dan Giles plundered two maximum scores in a 7-0 Legends Lounge Premier League 1 success against Liam Page.
In Giles second outing of the week, he succumbed to Jayden Dodd 7-2 to give him a yield of nine points from the two games played.
Josh Furneaux added a 180 but still lost out 7-6 to John Woolven-Allen who went on to lose 7-4 to Page in his second game.
Gary Clarke got his first triumph of the season in a 7-2 victory over Dave Reed who met Steve Mills in good form during a 7-0 reversal.
Mills added a 119 checkout and a 180 in that tie and Mills made it two wins from two starts on the night with a 7-0 victory against Chris Adams to top the standings in the divisional table.
In Premier League 2, Dave Lee was a 7-0 winner over Tom Wilson in his first match of the night, but narrowly missed out on two wins for the night in a 7-6 loss to Darren Smith.
Despite ending on the wrong side of the last leg shootout, Lee was still the aggressor in the 180 stats as he nailed two to Smith's one.
That result, coupled with Smith's 7-3 win over Dan Jewell that contained checkouts of 118 and 108 from the victor, leaves Smith tied with Lee at the summit of the league.
New Devon call up Frankie Stout got his campaign back on track with a 7-5 win over Del Bryce that saw both men put up 180s.
Nick Miller was a 7-2 victor against Robbie Aitken whilst Sean Taylor continued his impressive start with a 7-1 triumph over Jack Duffy.
Aitken was roundly bettered by John Mann 7-0 after Mann had shared four maximums between himself and Paul Palmer equally.
Mann ended that affair with a 7-2 result that leaves him in a trio also containing Taylor and Miller as players that have the maximum of 14 possible points from two played in his particular group.
In Premier League 3, Ben Waters checked 124 in a single visit for the highest checkout of the league phase so far but still fell to Dan Brazier 7-2.
Brazier's 116 combination out in that contest gave him one of the septet of legs and was also matched by Liam Taylor during his 7-6 loss to Nick Furneaux.
Furneaux added a 180 in that win and plundered as many 180s as he claimed legs in a 7-1 loss to Lewis Dare who made it two wins from two with a 7-0 success over Sarah Brown.
Dare added a 180 in that encounter to leave himself one of five in the division that have two wins as Neil White joined that list with a 7-2 win over Simon Wilbraham.
Both White and Wilbraham added 180s in that hotly contested affair whilst Dan Perryman joined the illustrious quintet after his 7-6 success over Lewis Bryne.
Perryman's 110 three dart combination out shot proved crucial in decided that matchup and Andrew Cook made it fourteen unanswered legs from as many played to top the standings.
Cook's latest 7-0 win came against fellow Cornwall county player Lisa Hellings, and that result was helped along by Cook's maximum.
Reece Goves added a three treble visit in a notable victory over Nathan Langdon by a 7-3 score line but suffered a 7-0 demolition job at the hands of Waters who made up for his earlier disappointment in style.
Langdon completed his night with a 7-0 loss to Brazier who sits third in the table after dropping just two legs from his two played.
