Fawn B Strike Gold To King 'Billy Boyz'
Fred Goldsmith's twelve tons led title holders Fawn B to a 10-1 win over King Billy in the Steve Chapman 501 League.

Goldsmith's total was accented by one of the eight maximums the two teams put onto the scoreboard, as well as the highest checkout of the week; a beautiful 138 kill that was one of five ton plus checkouts in the match.
John Mann supported Goldsmith with twelve tons of his own; netting one of those aforementioned maximums in the process.

Peter Holland's ten ton total contained standout visits of a 117 checkout and a third maximum for his team whilst Andy Bates added a brace of 180s to give the side five on the night.
Dave Matthews of the Fawn and Scott Cook for the Devonport both usurped that Holland finish with a 118 each whilst Cook's teammate Andrew Cook checked 100 in a single visit.

The Cook brothers were the main protagonists for the defeated side with Andrew bagging eleven tons including two 180s and Scott adding the eighth three treble visit overall.
Short legs rained down over the course of the match with Mann's (30.67) 3-0 win producing the best average thanks in part to legs in 16 and 14 darts.

Scott Cook was the King Billy's only winner as 18 and 15 darters helped him overcome Lee Agar 3-1 who himself added a leg in 18 in the only effort he won.
Andrew Cook and Goldsmith most certainly saved the best until last as the pair produced a world class encounter; the latter coming out a 3-2 winner.

Cook's legs in 18 and 16 darts were dampened by a rampant Goldsmith who checked out in 14, 13 and 18 darts to seal a remarkable victory both personally, and for the team for which he is captain.
A 10-1 win from Victory C over St Levans allowed the second placed side to cling onto the coat tails of the leaders and title favourites with Phil Hoyle's contribution of eleven tons proving crucial.

Billy Evans was also in good form in the win as he added eleven tons and legs in 15 and 18 darts during one of five wins by a 3-0 score line.
Jason Pinkerton won by the same score with the help of a leg in 18 whilst Hoyle's 3-0 triumph saw a 16 darter thrown.

Mark Shears added the first of his two maximums in a doubles contest before throwing the second in a 3-2 defeat to Mike Pearce who put the visitor's only 180 up and checked a crucial 14 darter in his team's only win.
Simon Washington top scored for Octagon and they won their Stonehouse derby matchup with Duchy by a score of 9-2.

Washington was ably supported in the win by Jayden Dodd who checked 100 on his way to a ten ton personal tally.
Dodd's 18 darter in a 3-0 win was only bettered in the match by a 17 dart leg from Alfie Ford during another success by three straight legs.

Kelvin Rowe's brace of maximums topped his ton plusses up to the ten mark in a 9-2 win for Victory A over stablemates Victory Hammers.
Quinton Taylor and Paul Goundry joined Rowe as 180 hitters in the win whilst Rowe's 18 darter in a 3-1 success was the best over the 501 distance.

Kings Arms had Simon Kelly in top form with ten tons, including a 180, but still faltered to a 6-5 defeat at the hands of Bar Mez.
Dave Johns made it three maximums for the defeated Oreston side with a brace before he saw his team surrender leads of 4-3 and 5-4.

Mike Bulmer's 3-0 win was claimed with the help of an 18 darter and a 106 checkout before Paul Tackle ran out a 3-0 winner to give the visitors from Torpoint the success.
Dan Brazier's ten ton haul helped Cherry Tree to a 7-4 win at Indian that saw Brazier throw one of the three maximums in the match.

The other two went to teammate Luke Beard who added a 91 checkout and a leg in 15 darts in his 3-0 individual success.
Bill Scannell's 130 checkout and two maximums from Dave Barton weren't enough to arrest Fawn A's slide to a 6-5 defeat against Ker St; the game won by Lewis Byrne 3-1 with the scores tied at 5-5.
