Dodd Gives Them The Old Jay-Ho

Jayden Dodd (27.81) continues his talismanic performance in the Louis Yates Plymouth and District Darts League with a 36 darter and ten tons for Tradesmans in a 10-3 win over Legends Lounge.



Dodd also meandered to ten tons throughout the contest, which gave him the status of top scoring marksman overall.


Teammate Andy Waters (25.03) fired a fine 40 dart 1001 leg in his singles whilst Nik Dodd showed flashes of brilliance with a 92 checkout and the game's only maximum.



Lee Pare (30.33) set a new mark for the best checkout of the campaign with a 33 darter that was ended by a 95 checkout during an 8-5 loss for Pennycross at King Billy who had Jack Nation firing a maximum.


Andy Tremaine (27.05) was the hero of the hour for Falstaff as he secured the final singles leg in 37 darts to give his team a 7-6 win over reigning champions Kings Tamerton.



Teammate Dave Jarvis (24.41) gave him a shot at glory in the penultimate leg thanks to a 41 darter that was ended in two with an 84 out shot.


Their teammate Alex Brown showed a moment of his undoubted brilliance with the only three treble visit of the topsy-turvy contest that saw the lead changed hands four times.



A Dan Brown-Martin 90 checkout and a 180 for Dan Nixon lit up a 10-3 win for Nixon's Windmill at Brown-Martin's Cherry Tree.


Sam Frampton's 80 checkout and a 180 by Nathan Beeney led Royal Naval Arms to a 13-0 whitewash of Ford Inn.


Mainstone were 12-1 winners at Stoke Inn whilst Cattedown continued their equally impressive start with a 9-4 triumph at Octagon B.
