Dare Vaults To Victory

Lewis Dare won the second week of the ADC Vault at Legends Lounge with an unbeaten night of seven games that saw him drop just four legs.

In group two, Dare was a 2-0 winner over Lewis Byrne and Sean Burkitt before edging week one champion Paul Palmer 2-1 with an 85.56 average.

Palmer (87.12) opened with a 13 darter before Dare won it 16 to level and punished sloppy finishing to take a 2-1 success over his main rival in the group.

Dare finished his pool stage with a 2-1 success over Darren Smith whilst Palmer was second after 2-0 wins over Smith, Burkitt and Byrne.

In group one, Frankie Stout topped the rankings with 2-1 wins over Del Byrce, Steve Mills, Rob May and Tom Graham.

Bryce, Mills and May all secured passage into the last 8 stage with wins two wins each to join Stout, Palmer, Dare and their fellow group two players Smith and Byrne in the last 8.

Despite onto winning one group stage match, Byrne defeated Stout 3-0 to joined Palmer in the first semi, who himself was victorious 3-0 over Bryce.

Mills edged Smith after going 2-0 down to recover to a 3-2 win whilst Dare's 18 darter in his 3-0 quarter final win over May meant he met his friend and Tuesday teammate Mills in the semi final.

Palmer booked his second successive final with a 3-1 win whilst Mills saw roles reversed after seeing a 2-0 lead slip to Dare in the last four matchup, which Dare won 3-2.

Another leg in 18 from Dare started the final, which settled him into a comfortable 3-0 triumph over week one champion to give him the spoils of a decent night of competitive darts.
