Dan-gerous Brazier Fires Top Individual Average
Dan Brazier (30.06) flew out of the traps in the Steve Chapman 501 League with a phenomenal individual performance that saw him bury legs in 17, 17, and 16 darts during a 3-0 individual triumph.

Brazier, however, ended his night on the wrong end of a 6-5 loss as Paul Palmer settled Kings Arms win with a 3-0 final game triumph to down Brazier's Cherry Tree A.
Brazier was an eleven ton hitter for the defeated team whilst teammate Simon Wilbraham netted a 107 checkout that was only bettered by a 126 from Dave Johns.

Scott Lawrey (28.90) continues to show why he's one of the most feared players around after a 3-0 win that saw legs tumble in 14 and 17 darts.
That success came in an 11-0 win for Victory A over Fawn A that saw Lawrey and three of his teammates strike at least ten tons.

Lawrey and Darren Collis were the least prolific of those as the pair made it to ten tons whilst Mark Williams ended his night on eleven three figure visits.
Those stats were however blown out of the water as Quinton Taylor heard scores of a ton or more called no fewer than sixteen times throughout the contest.

The 180 count was shared evenly between the two teams as Lawrey and Kelvin Rowe's efforts were cancelled out by Mark Sargeant and Isaac Taylor.
Sargeant also contributed with a checkout of 90 that was matched by Collis, meaning the highest checkout of the match honours was also shared.

Cameron O'Brien continues to show his class with a sixteen ton haul that helped Cherry Tree D to an 8-3 win over Beacon Park.
O'Brien was one of two maximum hitters as Kev Lofthouse secured the other whilst checkouts of 99 and 97 were plundered by Steve Towel and Tom Baker respectively.

Andrew Cook's fourteen scores of a ton or more and eleven more from the arm of Lewis Byrne gave King Billy the platform from which to build an 8-3 triumph over Tradesmans.
Cook's tally was topped up by one of the four maxis in the match as Ant Pearn's brace of 180s was added to once more by Jordan Grimshaw.

Grimshaw's effort ticked his ton total over to the eleven mark whilst three ton plus checkouts lit up the contest overall.
Cook nestled a 116 for the best finish of the night, which sat nicely alongside a 108 from Grimshaw and a 100 by Brandon Hartley.

Fourteen ton haul by Jayden Dodd couldn't arrest Octagon's slide to an 8-3 loss at the hands of Cherry Tree B, who had Phil Hoyle in good nick.
Hoyle put on one of five maximums on his way to eleven tons plusses whilst teammate Mark Shears nailed two 180s across the contest.

Mike Whatley added a fourth three treble visit to the board for the successful away side whilst the only maxi for the hosts went the way of Chris Edgecombe.
Whatley showed finesse during the closing stages of legs with an 18 darter that came in a 3-0 success whilst the best checkout of the contest went to Darren Smith with a 155.

A rampant Fawn B secured a 10-1 win over Victory Hammers, and at the heart of that success was thirteen ton plusses scored by John Mann.
Simon Washington and Fred Goldsmith both played the supporting role well with twelve tons each whilst Jack McMinn ended his night on ten tons.

Included in McMinn's tally was the game's only maximum whilst McMinn and Goldsmith put away 601 points in just 19 darts before three of the six singles matches saw a leg finished in 16 darts.
Lee Agar added the first of those in a 3-0 win before Kieran Leay succumbed to Goldsmith despite a 16 darter and an 89 checkout.

McMinn rounded off the dominant triumph with another 3-0 victory that saw a leg in w6 darts plundered by the victor.
Both Lee Hellings and Nick Bryant included a 180 in their mammoth ton totals to lead Cherry Tree C to a 10-1 triumph over The Exchange.

Hellings finished up on ten three figure visits whilst Bryant top scored with thirteen whilst Dave Lee added a third maxi for the home side that sat nicely alongside a 136 checkout.
Thirteen ton plusses from Tex Pearce and a 180 by Mike Pearce set the board alight for St Levans who claimed an 8-3 win over Firkin Scholar.

Three ton plus checkouts added to the highlight reel between Victory Fireballs and Indian Inn, which was won 8-3 by the former.
Phil Ingram's 120 was the first of those and wasn't bettered by anyone whilst next came a 104 by Ian Heggie for the defeated team.

Neal Walters struck a 108 and a 15 darter in his 3-2 reversal against Heggie that started off the individual phase of play.
