Cam-pelling Arrows From O'Brien

The Louis Yates Plymouth and District Darts League was once again set alight by the scoring prowess of Cameron O'Brien who nailed eleven tons for Mainstone.

That mammoth total led his team to a 9-4 win over Legends Lounge, for whom Alex Baker notched an 82 checkout in one of the four points his side collected.

Andy Tremaine dominated proceedings in Falstaff's 12-1 success at Stoke Inn B with ten tons plusses and a game week high checkout of 85.

Whilst the score line was one sided, the 180s were shared as Tony Clarke and Alex Brown added a solitary effort for each team.

The catalyst for Kings Tamerton's 11-2 triumph at Octagon A was maximums for Richard Lynch and James Farrell whilst one of the two chalk marks for the defeated side was put away in the week's least number of darts.

Steve Daley (24.41) added a 180 of his own on his way to a 41 dart 1001 leg in the final individual game that was the only singles won by the home outfit.

A 76 checkout from Steve Marker and a 180 by Sam Frampton lit up an 8-5 win for Frampton's Royal Naval Arms at Marker's Windmill.

A 180 from Stephen Heffron gave Cherry Tree the platform to claim an 8-5 triumph over Octagon B whilst Pennycross were 12-1 winners versus Stoke Inn A.
