A Clem Of A Performance

Dave Clemson shone throughout Fawn A's 6-5 triumph over Prince Maurice FC in the Plymouth Open League Division A with ten tons across the matchup.

Clemson added the only maximum to that aforementioned tally in a match that came down to the last singles won by colleague Bill Scannell 2-0 to give the away side the spoils.

Keith Johnson's 16 darter came during a 2-0 individual success for Lugger B during a 7-4 win versus Prince Maurice.

Johnson also checked 92 in a single visit during a stellar personal display whilst Jordan Heath was the only recipient of a '180' call after throwing for the defeated team.

A 180 from Matt Bridge was the shining light of Legends Lounge OGs 6-5 win at Cherry Tree B whilst Marc Mills added a 180 but still found himself on the wrong end of an 8-3 loss as Lugger A were beaten by Victory.

A checkout at the first time of asking from 72 by Neil White gave the former Champion of Champions the best of all nineteen finishes in the game.

Alan Jewell's three dart combination out shot of 117 gave him a 2-1 in the individual phase of a 7-4 win for Falstaff at Fortescue.

86 was finished twice in Weston Mill Oak Villa's 7-4 win over St Johnston A as Kevin Evans took out that number for the victors and Matt Piotrowski also added the same kill for the defeated away side.

Evans teammate Matt Abbott was the only member of the twelve competitor strong field on display to hear a '180' call after throwing.

Stan Preen's 100 checkout lit up Beacon Park's 9-2 win at St Levans whilst a 97 out shot was put away by Joe Bell during a 7-4 triumph for Ker St C over Mainstone A.

Brian Lumsdon added a 96 checkout for Legends Lounge C who claimed a 7-4 home success against Pennycross.

In Division B, Kathy Hunt's 180 and a 113 by Beth Falconer were the highlights as Hunt's Ker St A were defeated 7-4 by Falconer's Duchy.

A 180 from Sid Hurrell couldn't stop Mainstone B from succumbing to a 6-5 defeat on the last game at the hands of Bluebird who had Darryl Pinnegar checking from 93 in a single visit.

Dickie Derbidge added a checkout of 91 to his Fawn B team's 7-4 win over Cherry Tree A to make it five wins from seven starts for the newly formed Greenbank side.

Dan Nixon did provide the away side with a moment to savour with the only maximum of the contest in a trebles win.

Owen Deakin checked 88 in a single visit for Kings Arms who made it five wins from seven starts with a 7-4 success at Legends Lounge B.

King Billy A took an 11-0 success over Albemarle, Cherry Tree C bested King Billy B 10-1, Herbert claimed a 7-4 win over Shakespeare, Ker St B were 8-3 better than Weston Mill and Tap & Barrel succumbed to Agaton A 7-4.
